Dedicated Providers and Special Service Days

Maxine Eber discusses how Population Service International has used dedicated providers and special service days to increase provision of long-acting and permenant family planning methods. On special services days providers solely provide long-acting and permanent family planning methods. Often organized post-training, these days seek to boost demand through extensive outreach as well as offer providers an opportunity to practice the skills they learned in the training.
