Graciela Avila Recognized by U.S. Department of State for Advancing the Role of Women in Policy Formulation

Graciela Avila, who overseas SHOPS work in Paraguay for USAID, was recently recognized by the U.S. Department of State. She received the Swanee Hunt Award for advancing women’s roles in policy formulation, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the area of promoting women as participants in the political and economic processes or as policy shapers.
