Introducing Prospective Payment Mechanisms in Kenya: Workshop Report

This report summarizes the discussion points and outputs from a two-day capitation workshop held on May 22-23, 2014, supported by the SHOPS project. The workshop brought together major private health insurers and health providers for the first time to concretize opportunities for collaboratively addressing the rising costs of private health care through innovative payment mechanisms.
