This presentation discusses findings from a report compiled by the SHOPS project on potential commercial opportunities for nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). By offering some health and wellness services commercially, NGOs can decrease their dependence on donor-funding by allowing them to cover some of their costs through revenue generation; however, this option is not without caveats. Download the presentation for an explanation of some of the implications of commercialization.
