Working with the Private Sector for Child Health

This Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) Discussion Paper was prepared for the SARA Project by the Inter-Agency Working Group on Private Participation and Child Health. It identifies strategies to work with the private sector to improve child health by contracting, setting standards and regulations, financing support, providing non-financial incentives, coordinating service provision and finances, commercialization, training, providing advocacy, educating consumers and involving the community in financing.
