This report reviews the primary recommendations that came out of an integrated health systems and private sector assessment conducted in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in 2011 through a joint effort of the Health Systems 20/20 and SHOPS projects. Recommendations include improving the referral policy within the public health system, initiating a costing exercise of various health services, designating a staff member within the Ministry of Health to engage with private sector actors, and updating the regulatory framework that governs the health system.
