In this presentation, Jeff Barnes discusses two examples of taking a total market approach to increase access to reproductive health commodities. A total market approach is a process in which the suppliers and financers of health products and services from all sectors (public, non profit, commercial) develop a common strategic framework for maximizing use of those products and services to improve equity, efficiency and sustainability in the health system. Download the presentation to learn about how this was applied in Paraguay and the Ivory Coast.
This presentation was given as part of a panel on total market approaches hosted by George Washington University's Department of Public Health Communication & Marketing.
