Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action (MAMA) Bangladesh launched Aponjon, a national-scale mobile health information service, in July 2102. With technical assistance from the Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) project, this three-year business plan was developed in collaboration with MAMA Bangladesh Secretariat D.Net for program partners, sponsors, and supporters. This business plan provides a roadmap toward commercial sustainability and examines the assumptions underlying the revenue and cost projections. Separate reports developed by the MAMA Bangladesh team document the full case study of Aponjon’s birth and progress, summarize results, and itemize lessons learned from the Aponjon pilot phase, which began in October 2011.
