Lessons learned in a pilot introduction of zinc treatment for childhood diarrhea in Bougouni District, Mali

This April 2005 report was written for program managers and planners interested in the lessons learned about operational issues in the pilot introduction of zinc supplementation as an adjunct treatment for childhood diarrhea in Mali. Funding for this study was provided by USAID/GH/HIDN and was implemented by Save the Children; Services Socio-Sanitaires, Bougouni; University of Bamako, Faculty of Medicine; Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; and the World Health Organization.
